India quae Orientalis dicitur, et insulae adiacentes (Latin "Of the East Indies, and the islands adjoining") is a map published by Willem Blaeu in Amsterdam circa 1635. Blaeu was official cartographer of the Dutch East India Company (VOC) and was privy to the best available information about the region.

Drafted approximately 65 years after Ortelius's map, the improvements in accuracy are remarkable. Stylistically, 17th century maps became more serious, trading the the fanciful sea monsters of earlier eras for sailing ships and cherubs.

Blaeu's map details the vast sphere of operations of the VOC's trading empire. The VOC eclipsed all of its rivals in the Asia trade, carrying more than five times the tonnage of its nearest competitor, the British East India Company, throughout its nearly 200 years of history.

The cartouche in the lower left is a dedication to Laurens Reael, Governor General of the East Indies (1616-1619), signed by Blaeu. Reael's coat of arms is above.
